The roots of Enermet OÜ originate from Eesti Energia (Finngrid in Finland), which privatized parts specializing in the construction of power transmission lines, renamed Eesti Elektrivõrvek Ehituse AS. Along with this was the Järve production base, which was sold because it was not the main business of the company. This is where Enermet OÜ grew up. In operation since October 26, 2009. Estonian Electricity Networks Ehituse AS was renamed Empower AS during the change of ownership.
Enermet, as the name suggests (Ener - energy and met - metal), is a company specializing in energy construction to a large extent. The main products have been metal structures for substations up to 330kV. In 2019 the biggest job for us in Estonia was Sopi AJ (117 tons). Previously, we have manufactured steel structures for larger Estonian substations - Püssi AJ, Eesti Power Plant AJ, Paide AJ, Harku AJ and others. We have supplied steel structures to the Republic of Finland in Kannus, Huutokoski, Turku, Varkaus, Merikallio, Kangasvuori, Porvoo, Pirttikoski, Viikinmäki, Loviisa. Major customers: Empower, ABB, Siemens, Eltel Networks.
